Dorset-based veru truly Sicilian is the creation of Sara and Giuseppe Sinaguglia. Ideas On Food has been working with Sara and Giuseppe for eight months in advance of their launch at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair in September 2008. 

VERU's Pistachios in Honey have already won GOLD in the 2008 Great Taste Awards, in advance of their launch, and other products in the range include Crushed Lemon Marmellata, Spiced Hot Chocolate, Orange Blossom Honey, Caponata, Semolina Flour, Anchovy Fillets and Sospiri 'Little Sighs', a delightful traditional confectionery - all made by Sicilian artisans especially for VERU, with the exception of the Caponata which is made in Dorset to Giuseppe's own recipe.
